Our boat
A queen in both name and nature, the MV Deep Andaman Queen is sure to impress. She is, without a doubt, one of the most state of the art boats you will find operating in the area, and offers Thailand liveaboard trips fit for a king! Built in 2003 and newly renovated in 2019, our flagship vessel is just over 30 meters long, 7 meters wide, and can house up to 25 guests. Our spacious decks have plenty of comfortable seating, the top floor boasts an enormous sun deck, and there is also a classic saloon for those seeking some respite from the sun.
We have air-conditioned luxury cabin configurations to suit all of our guests' requirements for their diving liveaboard trip with us, ranging from quad, triple and twin shared standard cabins on the lower deck, to deluxe double and twin bedded cabins on the main deck.
Our dive platform at the rear of the boat is huge and comprises a spacious area for kitting up split across 2 levels. Our entry and exit platform is also large and is equipped with two exit ladders, two freshwater showers for rinsing off after your scuba dives, and large freshwater buckets for rinsing dive computers, cameras, and torches.
Our diving equipment is regularly serviced and in fantastic condition, and we have a Coltri Sub Nitrox compressor onboard, making unlimited Nitrox fills for every diver possible. There are many reasons why we recommend using Nitrox on our Similan Islands liveaboard and Myanmar liveaboard trips, so if you are a certified Nitrox diver and would like to dive on enriched air, we can certainly facilitate that. If you don’t have your Nitrox certification yet, our professional team are happy to teach you onboard so you can make the most out of this service. Nitrox is just one of the many dive courses available onboard, and once you have completed the course, you get Nitrox tanks for free on all your remaining fun dives!
The MV Deep Andaman Queen operates to the highest of safety standards. We have emergency oxygen and a DAN oxygen kit onboard, as well as multiple first aid kits, life jackets, and two life rafts. Our communication and tracking systems are top of the range and include VHF radios, CB radios, echo sounder, radar, and GPS.

Our trip leader gives a comprehensive welcome orientation, and our dive leaders give detailed dive briefings before every dive to ensure your safety and comfort in the water. Each carefully selected member of our dive team is a walking thesaurus on Thailand and Myanmar dive sites and marine life, and are well versed in best practices when it comes to dive equipment too. So if you need any hints and tips, be sure to ask them!
Our friendly boat crew are always available to help you gear up, assist you in and out of the water, and generally make you feel happy, safe and at home aboard the MV Deep Andaman Queen. Our kitchen staff are regularly praised for their varied and delicious dishes, all prepared fresh in our onboard galley. So in the ‘dive, eat, sleep, repeat’ cycle, you certainly won’t be left hungry or unsatisfied with a meal, that’s for sure!
