I did the 5 day 4 night trip around the Similan islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Surin.
This was a truly unforgettable trip. The ship is fantastic. Modern and spacious. The dive sites were incredible especially Richelieu Rock. The food was delicious. You’ll be well fed on this trip. And most importantly the staff were so friendly and nice. Steve was an excellent tour leader with detailed briefings and a great instructor for deep dive and nitrox courses. Captain Wat took us from site to site with minimal fuss and noise. TK was a fantastic guide who seemed to know where all the best marine life was. Alena, Ekk and Nui were also very friendly guides. And Max made amazing Thai teas. A big thank you to the whole team for such a great trip.

We were a group of 12 divers and the trip to Similan Islands was one of our best liveaboard experiences in terms of organisation, safety and customer service . You will also find that the food during the whole trip is the most delicious and plentiful, and different every day . There are enough snacks and fruit during the trip , all soft drinks and different types of coffee are free of charge . All of the crew work as a team and they all did an outstanding job- lead instructors Will- very friendly and accommodating , Ek -with his thorough dive briefings, all the girls guides -Aliona and the rest ! Cabins are quite spacious and very clean. The route is magnificent! We only wished to have more night dives and we definitely will be back )
Thank you, Deep Andaman! Best regards from Cyprus divers ❤️

Second trip with DAQ and won’t be the last.
This is the second year we have travelled with DAQ and this time we brought friends with us to show them the magic that is this boat and diving in the Similan islands.
I wrote a stunning review for them last year and this year nothing has changed. From the rooms to the crew to the food to the diving - there are no complaints.
We took a larger room this time that had a desk which made charging easier for photography gear but otherwise all of the rooms have ensuites. They are spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
The food is next level. Catering for all tastes. You would think diving 4 times a day would shed a couple of kilos. Afraid not!
Many of the crew from last year are still there which shows what a tight knit team they are. Max and his coffee machine are a welcome treat every morning. Our guide Nui is not only a brilliant guide but someone who you can relax and have a joke with. Laughing above and below the surface. Awesome to see Ekk doing some of the dive briefings now like a pro.
Steve runs the boat with precision and care. He knows the region like no

Thank you Deep Andaman Queen
Just had a great trip with DAQ. The boat is managed extremely well and all the crew are fabulous. Special thanks to our dive guide Ekk who is very experienced, has a great knowledge of the sites and took very good care of us in the water. Ekk even found me baby barracuda when I asked :)
Big love and many thanks to everyone who worked hard to give me a super holiday. Much appreciated.

Amazing experience, fantastic dive team
Highly knowledgeable team on board to give the best dive experience possible. Our guide Nui was fantastic looking after us underwater and the in depth dive briefings from Steve and Ekk made us feel like we were already there. The food was fantastic and such a variety! And barista Max was ready every morning to make yummy coffee to enjoy whilst taking in the beautiful scenery. Every single staff member onboard made us feel so welcome and accommodated for, we can’t wait to do the trip again. Thanks so much team, we loved every minute.

Big shout out to the host with the most, Steve!!! (entertaining and informative briefings, and a perfect emphasis on safety mixed with fun).
Would wholeheartedly come back again!
Did I mention how amazing the food was?!?

My partner and I completed our advanced open water dive certification on a 4 night, 5 day Similan Island trip with the DAQ this February. Really can’t say enough about how great the trip was. The entire crew and dive team were professional, competent and fun. They clearly like each other and it shows in how they function as a team and the relaxed, enjoyable vibe on the boat.
Steve was our instructor and the overall trip director. His approach to our certification was thorough and thoughtful. He was patient, but insisted that we master the skills before we moved on. I am definitely a better diver than I was when we started the trip and it meant that I was much better able to enjoy the spectacular dive sites.
Toon runs the administrative side of things and was prompt and helpful in planning and booking our trip. Captain Wat and Engineer Ran ensured we we had a safe, smooth journey. Chef See and Sous chef Nok fed us – sometimes 6 times a day! – delicious, fresh meals. Dinghy Captains Nong and Bom got us to the sites and back safely and quickly. Max was up making excellent coffee regardless of how early the start. And Nai made sure the boat was clean and comfortable.
Steve, Ekk, Nui, Nim, Elena and TK did an excellent job of leading the 4 dives a day. Steve’s familiarity with the islands made for excellent, funny briefings and meant that he planned so that we had the best opportunity to dive at the right time for each site.
And the diving! It was, hands down, amazing. The whole area is healthy and vibrant. Richelieu Rock lived up to its reputation of being spectacular. We did four dives there and it still felt like we only saw a fraction of the marine life.
We can definitely recommend the DAQ and her crew without hesitation.

We had an incredible time on our 5D4N Similan trip with Deep Andaman Queen. The boat and crew are fantastic. Steve, the tour leader, has been working on the boat for the last 13 years and it shows - it's a well oiled machine. The whole crew were faultless:
Max is always on it with coffee and any other drink you can dream up. Ask for a Thai tea.
Nai makes sure everything is spotless. The boat and rooms were cleaner than plenty of hotels we've stayed in. Him and Ran were always super helpful on the dive deck too when you inevitably forget something.
We'd read other reviews about how good the food is, but it was even better than expected. Chef See and Nok put on a huge variety of dishes. We expected rice and a different kind of curry each night but it was far more interesting than that.
Captain Wat, Steve and the dive team do their best to plan the dives to avoid the worst of the current and the divers on other boats. And you're never waiting too long for a dinghy pick up thanks to Bom and Nong which, given what we saw, can't be said for other boats..
Safety is taken seriously, as is protecting the marine life. We had some epic dives and saw loads of beautiful things. Steve and Alena were our instructors/dive guides and both were lovely. If you're considering doing a course on this boat, Steve really cares about making you a great, safe, respectful diver - it's not just a tick box exercise.
This was one of our all time holiday highlights. Thank you so much DAQ team!
